If someone were to imagine the ultimate Power Pop figure, they may imagine someone like Phil Seymour.
Skinny black jeans, striped shirt, shaggy hair.
I can’t confirm this but I’d assume he’s also wearing black Beatle boots or converse. Its an age-old recipe for Power Popdom that he embodies in his look, but fully delivers in his music. Its almost stereotypical of Power Pop and is extremely my shit.
His whole self-titled album, but “I Found a Love” in particular, feels like it was created in a lab of white-coated Power Pop scientists (men with skinny ties, bangs, and Rickenbackers pouring tambourines into test tubes).
