I was wadding my way through the nyc rain on Saturday, taking multiple trains and dodging delays, the whole time listening to this new bar italia album.

Its moody attitude seemed to fit the gray day I was experiencing, but I think that does a disservice to the album. It’s not just rainy day music. It weaves in and out of a lot of different genres and moods, feeling like whole experience rather than just a single instance or vibe.

But that being said, if you find yourself experiencing some rain in the near future, throw it on and I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.
